I'm a new mother, I work from home, and like many women in this season of life, I found myself at a crossroads with my personal style. I looked in my closet one day and realized that nothing I owned truly reflected who I was becoming. That moment became the catalyst for everything that followed.
As I began intentionally shopping African fashion brands, I kept encountering the same recurring gaps — "ready to wear" collections that still required custom measurements, excessive shipping costs, poor customer service, and little to no return policies. Experiences that left me feeling like the customer was an afterthought.
So I decided to build the brand I had been looking for.
Every element of the brand — from the garments to the packaging to the tags — is made in Nigeria. Supporting African businesses and African makers is not a marketing angle. It is the foundation.
The aesthetic I am building toward is what I call elevated casual — the idea that you should look and feel your best every single day, not just when there is somewhere to be. This brand is for the woman who refuses to wait for a special occasion to show up for herself.
